Writing Streatch for 9/13

"All of us immigrants knew that moving to America would be fraught with challenges, but none of us thought our names would be such an obstacle". - This quote is connecting with any immigrant that comes to a new country and feels as if they are out of place. Also, the significance is that they are pulling in that many people feel as if their name is an inconvenience so they are drawling an emotion grab on the readers.

"I wanted to be a kid with a name that didn't draw so much attention, a name that didn't come with a built in inquisition as to when and why I had moved to America and how was it I spoke English without an accent and was I planning on going back and what did I think of America". - I think that this quote has significance in a way that the American people do ask questions when immigrant people do come to America and really just overwhelm the people.
